Process explained
Glenn Loughrey’s visual practice is grounded in the relational nature of Country—where land, water, story, and spirit are inseparable.
Through abstraction and pattern, his work expresses movement, connection, and presence. Each work emerges from relationship— between people, place, memory, and spirit.
His work is created through a process of listening — to Country, to story, and to spirit.
Pattern functions as a form of knowledge, carrying movement, relationship, and memory.
